Privacy Policy

Effective May 17, 2026

Agena is a Gemini protocol browser for iPhone. The app is designed to work without accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Data collection

Agena does not collect personal data from you. The app does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

Data stored on your device

Agena stores app preferences, bookmarks, and trusted server TLS identities locally on your device. If you create or import client TLS identities, Agena stores the identity material using the iOS Keychain and stores only related descriptors in local app storage.

Network activity

When you open a Gemini URL, Agena connects directly to the capsule host you chose. That host may receive information normally involved in a network request, such as your IP address and the Gemini URL being requested. If you choose a client TLS identity for a capsule, that identity may be presented to the capsule host as part of the TLS connection.

Agena does not route your browsing through developer-operated servers.

Third-party content

Agena displays Gemini capsules and files from servers selected by you. Those servers are operated by third parties and may have their own policies or logging practices.

Deleting data

You can remove bookmarks, trusted server identities, and client TLS identities in the app. You can also delete the app from your device to remove app-local data managed by iOS.

Children

Agena is not directed to children. Because Agena is a browser, it can access content on servers not controlled by the developer.

Changes

This policy may be updated if Agena changes how it handles data. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes.
